UI UX Designer

Our carer and client portals are central to our vision of the company. As our first UI UX Designer your role will be critical to executing our vision, helping us provide the best care experience in the industry.

Role overview

As our first UI UX Designer you will have a hands-on role in developing the direction of our product and the culture of our company.

You will have the opportunity to take ownership of key product decisions, leading on UX and UI design and the evolution of our digital brand.

What experience we are looking for

  • Have over a year of experience designing for the web
  • You have a portfolio you can show and talk to us about

Our design tools

We use figma to create and manage our designs and prototypes and are open to evolving this as we grow.

What you will be doing

  • You will help us develop a component library that we will use across our apps
  • Take lead developing user journeys and designing the UX for new features
  • Will design wireframes and prototypes to validate ideas with our users and with other teams from within Edyn Care.
  • Will create high-fidelity designs for our engineering
  • Work closely with our engineers to understand the viability and complexity of potential UX solutions

Benefits

  • This role is 3 days per week, with a pro rata salary of £30,000 — £40,000 (negotiable)
  • 25 days of annual leave (pro rata), not including bank holidays
  • A pension contribution equal to 3% of your base salary
  • Home office setup allowance
  • Right now this position is working from home. When it becomes safe to do so and the government advice changes you would be expected to come into our office in Battersea 1 day per week

Interview process

We want our interview process to be simple and enjoyable. At each step we make quick decisions and will give you detailed feedback if you want it. We will start with a short call to give you an idea of the role and to try to work out if it will be a good fit. After this there will be a 1 hour interview during which you will walk us through a project you have worked on. Finally you will have a short interview with our CEO.
